Subaru Baja The Subaru Baja is a coupe utility vehicle in the form of a four door pick-up, with all-wheeldrive and four passenger capacities. It was introduced in 2003 by Subaru.
Its unibody design was heavily borrowed from Subaru Legacy wagon. With a combination of handling and passenger carrying characteristics of a traditional car with the open-bed versatility of pickup truck it was unique in design. The Baja is named after Mexico's Baja California peninsula?home to the Baja 1000 off-road race.
